So Hawaii was wonderful, however returning home has not been. Our neighbors had a leak that went into our laundry room and was so bad the laundry room ended up needing to be completely demolished. This means they removed everything. My washer, dryer and water heater. Why is this so awful? No water for showers! All I ever want to do when I come home is clean, wash everything I own and sleep in my own bed. Without water, these tasks are slightly difficult. So my husband and I have been on the move trying to balance getting clean at friends and families homes and getting what we need done at our own house. I am hoping my laundry room will be finished this week and I will finally get to return home!

A Reminder of My Wedding Day
I have often said that I am the luckiest girl in the world, but it really is true. Just over a year ago I had the most wonderful wedding that went more perfect than anyone could have wished for. It was beautiful, filled with friends and family, and I had amazing people that helped me create my dream come true.
My florist and decor specialist, Larrissa Rehder of Inviting Occasion, created magical centerpieces and special touches for me everywhere. She even surprised me by adding black tulle and a row of chunky rock crystal around the base of my bouquet. It was gorgeous. Once the bouquet was gone, my mom being the the visionary that she is, held onto the rock crystal.

Rock-A-Bye...
Kids bedrooms are finally getting upgraded from cheesy cartoon characters to being able to reflect the style of the rest of a clients home. It is so nice to see that happening more and more such as in the rooms below.
Amanda Peets daughters room.
Jennifer Delonges sons room.
Kelly Wearstlers sons room.
But what do all kids want? A home of their own.

Flipping Out with Ryan Brown
I love reality TV. I am not ashamed of it...although it depends on what show you are asking about. More than that I love everything Bravo. On the top of my list is Flipping Out. I love the crazy people and the amazing projects. The best kept secret though is how what a talented interior designer Ryan Brown is. With his brother, Ryan founded Brown Design. They do amazing Residential projects that make me get about an inch away from my computer screen to make sure I don't miss a single detail. Based on his house alone, you can see why.
Living Room with ever popular Imperial Trellis.
Between the sputnik chandelier, the three antique Chinese cabinets, and the black trim I cannot catch my breath.
Sherwin Williams 'Gauntlet Gray' on the walls. One of my favorites.
A dreamy black and white kitchen.
Mix of high and low. Most of the light fixtures were under $100 and found at flea markets. This is one of Jonathan Adlers fixtures that cost $795.
This light fixture in the Master Bath which Ryan painted white was only $60.

Why do I want to live in Kentucky?
So I can live with Mark Badgley and James Mischka on their ridiculously gorgeous horse farm! Their 1920's stone house sits on 15 acres and is really something to be desired.
The perfect car for your horse farm second home? A 1971 Mercedes 280SL of course.
Every home needs an Hermes throw. Who will be getting me mine?
In the library Hermes china is a must!
A La Cornue range in white and brass...yum!
I am obsessed with those black and white pillow shams! Guess where they are from?

Orange You Smart.
Entry tile that pops!
The gorgeous wallpaper with the fresh blue and white zebra window treatments = happiness.
Even though the bookshelf is bright orange, the rest of the room makes it feel neutral.
