Was I the Last to Know?

Do you ever feel like you were the last person to know about something amazing? Well that is how I feel. Little did I know that this beautiful mirror I had been coveting was from Wisteria! It caught me by such surprise when the catalog came in the mail the other day and I turned the page and there it was. I feel relieved to know, but annoyed that it took me this long to find out.

A perfectly pale pink can look striking and chic when done right. With the warm carmel and gold tones with and the crisp white furniture, it is the perfect backdrop to cozy up on the sofa in front of a roaring fire with a good book.

A Girl Can Dream Can't She?

Tween Dream Completed!

So i realized I have still not posted the 'after' pictures from the Tween's room i was working on. I have a few shots that I wanted to share and will hopefully get some more complete ones soon!

Her new mini wingback desk chair. Even I am jealous!

We used the most gorgeous light blue Barbara Barry leather, and then the classic Schumacher Chiang Mai Dragon in Aquamarine on the back and the seat. To separate the two we used a Samuel & Sons trim in Ocre. Combine that with tufting, silver nail heads, and flat black legs and you have got the dreamiest desk chair ever.

A shot of her bed with a headboard made out of old shutters that have white and turquoise chipped paint on them. Yum!

We also used the Chiang Mai Dragon on the bed, along with Kelly Wearstlers Imperial trellis in Citrine and Ivory, and Celerie Kembles Betwixt in Aqua and Ivory for the bed roll.

All in all, this tween is the envy of all of her friends.
