I was rather surprised at the amount of gowns that I thought were completely gorgeous this year at the Oscars. I thought there were more winners than losers this year on the red carpet. Here are my favorites of the evening:

I became obsessed with this girl and her dress the moment I spotted it over on Apartment #34. The classic lines, simple shape, and to top it off it has pockets. I was not at all surprised when I saw it was by Oscar de la Renta.
