My girlfriend recently told me about the mini "glamping" vacation she went on and I had to share!

She vacationed on an Airstream in Big Sur.

Palm Springs Recap

Since it was 106 degrees out there was of course a lot of laying out under the sun and an umbrella.

However, I did manage to beat the heat and attempt to do some shopping.

I thought about this baby...but could not commit.

I also considered a gold Armadillo.  As my BFF Paula said, "Who doesn't need a gold armadillo?"

We also spent a morning at the Parker enjoying an amazing brunch.

Followed by a little more vintage shopping.

Palm Springs Anyone?

So we are packing up again this time for a quick jaunt to the desert.  I will more than likely either be physically IN a pool or in any air conditioning I can find since it appears as though the weather is creeping up to 110 degrees (hot!) while we are there.

I hope that I get the chance to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle in person with my husband for our 3 year anniversary. We have been talking about going together for almost 6 years now.

Scottsdale, Here We Come

Next Thursday my husband and I, and my brother and his girlfriend are headed to Scottsdale for a quick getaway. I am so excited to go and explore and see what is out there and stay at the Westin Kierland I cannot even explain it.

I am looking for some tips or ideas of thing to do though besides relaxing.

(Which I can really use.)

Any suggestions for places I must see when I am not lounging here...

Ok people...it is on!

I am leaving in two weeks exactly for London and Paris for 11 days. I am still in utter shock. I need to pull it together though and I need your help! Where to go, what to see...I know everyone has shops or restaurants that they can recommend so please do!
