Oh, Bill.

I love Bill Murray.

So when I found this print I nearly fell over.

I think this will be finding its way home to myself and a few others I know.

Seattle Nuptials

A glimpse at us getting ready for the big day.
The hair and makeup girls rocked my hair and my cat eye.

My beautiful friend Paula looking quite excited to be a beautiful bride.

After the wedding and reunited with my hubby.

The gorgeous ballroom at the Four Seasons in downtown Seattle.

A little later in the evening after a few glasses of wine we pulled a little "blue steel."

Oh, and my husband played the keytar.

I was not sure about the polka dot trend until I spotted this blouse at Kohl's.  The price sold me and made me feel like it was worth a shot.  I am so glad I did!  Try it for yourself with the code UBLOGTEN through October 24th for an extra discount at Kohls.com.

The Gift of Glassybaby

You always forget that when you are in a wedding that while you are busy always thinking about the Bride and Groom that they are busy thinking about you too.

I felt that the gifts to our parents and bridal party were actually one of the hardest decisions to make.

What does everyone want or need?
What will remind them of the special day they shared with you?
What might they appreciate for years to come?

Well, Paula nailed it by giving everybody something that she wanted...

I was excited to find out that Lollypop was coming home with me!

What I Wore - Rehearsal Dinner

Sometimes being in the wedding is great because you do not have to decide what to wear, but then you realize there are more events you have to attend, so you need even more ensembles!

After much debate, here is what I ended up with for the rehearsal and dinner at Wild Ginger in Seattle.

The idea was business casual but fun as the rehearsal was at 3pm.

Top, Skirt and Necklace - J. Crew
Shoes and iPhone Case - Kate Spade
Clutch - Streets Ahead

Seattle Scenery

A little recap of our trip to Seattle for my BFF's wedding.  The Hubby and I had a day or so to run around the city prior to the wedding festivities started, so we took in all Seattle had to offer.

A trip to the Space Needle

After standing on the observation deck, we ate at the 360 degree rotating restaurant at the top of the Space Needle - Sky City.

The beautiful gleaming exterior of the Seattle EMP Museum

We walked through the Chihuly Gardens and Exhibit

Yes, my Paraty came too.

A trip to the market was a must

We also seemed to end each day in the W's bar and lounge where I enjoyed several champagne cocktails

All in all, a wonderful time was had by all!

Off to Seattle

I am off to my best friends wedding in Seattle this weekend.

I am looking forward to good food, music and having fun in the city.

Best of Bottica

Have you heard of Bottica?

They are an amazing online resource that I recently discovered that I am addicted to.  The concept behind Bottica was to bring the talents of many amazing artists around the world to your fingertips.

I of course tend to browse their jewelry section, but they also have a million other accessories - bags, scarves, and belts.

A few of my recent favorite finds...

Not to mention the ever chic fashionista herself, Olivia Palermo, is a fan of Bottica too.  Sold!

Harry Winston Loves Me

While I love my parents Labradoodle, Harry Winston, I do wish it was the jeweler that loved me!

Anyways, Harry only seems to love to swim aka raft when I am also in the pool at my parents house.  He seriously cannot help himself.  While he does not leap off the edges of the pool, he does go to the stairs and launch himself off of them at me.

He does this all to commandeer whatever raft I happen to be lounging on.

After rafting you can really see how much poodle is in this Labradoodle.
