Back to School Bag

Remember when school was getting ready to start and you got to go Back to School shopping?  

That was the absolute best.  

New clothes, new school supplies, and a brand new backpack.

Why does this stop when you are adult? 

I decided to bring back that tradition and treat myself to a brand new bag since that was my favorite part.  I ventured out to the Brea Mall to find my Back to School bag.

My first stop though had to be Orange Julius!  Why doesn't every mall still have these?  It started off my shopping trip on the right note.

I headed right into the where I knew my Back to School bag fantasies would become realities...Coach.

After a helpful sales associate asked me what was missing from my bag collection, we narrowed it down to a small daytime neutral bag that would be helpful in travel.

And guess what came home with me?

The day after Paula's fabulous wedding in Seattle there was a lovely brunch for all of the guests back at the Four Seasons.

I packed my "perfect for all occasions" dress and I was in business.

Seattle Scenery

A little recap of our trip to Seattle for my BFF's wedding.  The Hubby and I had a day or so to run around the city prior to the wedding festivities started, so we took in all Seattle had to offer.

A trip to the Space Needle

After standing on the observation deck, we ate at the 360 degree rotating restaurant at the top of the Space Needle - Sky City.

We also seemed to end each day in the W's bar and lounge where I enjoyed several champagne cocktails

Palm Springs Recap

Since it was 106 degrees out there was of course a lot of laying out under the sun and an umbrella.

However, I did manage to beat the heat and attempt to do some shopping.

We stayed at the Encore.  I will never stay at another Vegas hotel again.  The nicest, cleanest hotel and the best beds to boot.  Not to mention this gorgeousness.
