Back from Brian Head

After some time in Vegas we headed off to Brian Head, Utah for a ski vacation.

I had never been skiing before so I was a little nervous, but I conquered the bunny slope and a few green runs all without a single fall.

Wedge!

There was also tubing. I cannot even tell you how much fun that was. I actually hit the barrier at the end and they tried to yellow tube me. AKA shame me by calling me out for going to fast. Uh, no thanks. I ignored the 12 year old and continued speeding down the tubing hill.

Inside My Instagram

My dreams came true and my Debra Baxter cuff arrived.

I filled my belly with my fave Mexican food...ok, salsa.

Union Industries was resurrected and will live on through another generation via my custom onesies.

Sawyer found his favorite seat in the house was on me.

DIY pumpkins came together smashingly.

Taken

I have been taken by this brass Jennifer Fisher bracelet since I laid my big brown eyes on it.

I think the hubby should take note since I am taken by him.

Seattle Nuptials

A glimpse at us getting ready for the big day.
The hair and makeup girls rocked my hair and my cat eye.

My beautiful friend Paula looking quite excited to be a beautiful bride.

After the wedding and reunited with my hubby.

The gorgeous ballroom at the Four Seasons in downtown Seattle.

A little later in the evening after a few glasses of wine we pulled a little "blue steel."

Oh, and my husband played the keytar.

Seattle Scenery

A little recap of our trip to Seattle for my BFF's wedding.  The Hubby and I had a day or so to run around the city prior to the wedding festivities started, so we took in all Seattle had to offer.

A trip to the Space Needle

After standing on the observation deck, we ate at the 360 degree rotating restaurant at the top of the Space Needle - Sky City.

The beautiful gleaming exterior of the Seattle EMP Museum

We walked through the Chihuly Gardens and Exhibit

Yes, my Paraty came too.

A trip to the market was a must

We also seemed to end each day in the W's bar and lounge where I enjoyed several champagne cocktails

All in all, a wonderful time was had by all!

Perpetual Panic

So here is a little inside information onto my true personality...I am a constant worrier.
The things I worry about though are really rather ridiculous.

I usually think someone is breaking into my house.

I am pretty sure I will always be late even thought I tend to be early.

I constantly think Dorothy Mantooth might stop breathing in the middle of the night.

I always think that someone is following me in a parking garage.

I assume I order every sectional going the wrong direction.

The last point is a constant stress in my work life.  Have I ever ordered a sectional going the wrong direction?  No.  Does that stop the intense panic and worry the night before an install?  No.  Will it ever?  No.  Why?  Now I think if I am not worried, that will be the time I should have been worried.

Ugh.

My poor husband.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Crisp and Clean Shopping

With the holidays fast approaching I have started thinking about gifts I could get for my little family. Usually I cannot help but purchase myself a little something as well.

Brook Farm General Store is a very fun website that I find myself perusing. It is so clean and crisp and everything that makes me want to be more domestically capable, but alas, it is just not in the cards I feel. I still cannot help but cruise this site and imagine my huge family style, farm-barn of a kitchen.

For the family:

How can you not want these? Whimsy and elegance rolled into one.

For myself:

I just cannot picture any other bell on my bike...shiny and gold and probably has the most classic *ding, ding.*

For Dorothy Mantooth:

While Dorothy tends to be a girly girl and a puppy of leisure, I think she might enjoy the classic beauty of a luggage leather colored collar with a shiny brass buckle closure.

For the hubby:

While I love all of our wedding pictures and the loads of pictures of Dorothy Mantooth, I think my husband might appreciate a little edge added to our walls with this vintage target.

To my better half on our three year anniversary,

I always want you near.

I love the way you look at me.

I cannot wait to see where our future will take us.

Bag it, Frame it

So I have obsessed over the idea of framing shopping bags for awhile but the latest picture renewed my passion for the idea.

I need a bigger closet to do this in.

My husband is understanding, but he is not about to let me hang framed bags on the wall in our hallway.
