What I Wore - Seeing Spots

Just like the rest of you, I have seen the numerous amounts of leopard designer denim that has been popping up all over the place. As a leopard print loving girl, I was intrigued, but it was hard for me to imagine wrapping my thighs in leopard and actually liking what I saw. Not to mention, was it really worth the $200 investment?

Behold...

Tee - J. Crew
Jeans - Target
Flip Flops - Tory Burch
Scarf - J. Crew
Sunnies - Chloe
Bracelet - Michael Kors
Watch - Nixon

So, while I could never spend $200 on jeans that I thought would surely be out of trend by summer time, when I walked into my favorite store - Target - and saw what I thought was a wonderful knock-off, I felt the need to try them on. At that point it came down to the actual fit of the jean.

Guess what?

Phenomenal.

These are so good for $23 I feel like I will be heading back to get the gray version too.

I mean can you see the $180 price difference between mine above, and the Current/Elliott below?

What I Wore - Tory Burch Heaven

2011 ended on a high note because on Christmas morning I opened a gift from my wonderful parents and my dream came true!

The Tory Burch jacket that I had whined about HERE and HERE was in my hands. I pretty much jumped up and down and put it on immediately before deciding that the household of 12 people, 1 baby, 5 dogs and 2 cats might cause it some damage and I took it off put it in its box and relocated it to a high shelf for the rest of the day.

However, a few days later when my husband and I were invited to sit at the Chef's Table in the kitchen of a wonderful Italian restaurant with friends and clients, and I knew that my beautiful Tory Burch jacket would be making its first outing.

Jacket - Tory Burch
Blouse - Free People
Jeans - Gap
Shoes - Zara
Jewelry - None required with this gorgeous jacket!

Who Loves Me?

OK.

So I know I already posted about this Tory Burch jacket.

I still love it.

Unfortunately, I have now tried it on and my desire has deepened.

Picture via Tory Burch

While killing a little time in Neiman Marcus the other day, I spotted it on the sale rack.

I then tricked myself into the game of "If you put it on you might hate it and never think about it again."

WRONG.

I slipped the size 8 on my monkey armed body and fell in love. Even worse, somebody else told me they loved me in it.

See the guy carrying the orange jacket in the background?

Well, right after I took this picture he walked by while talking to another sales associate and said, "Who makes your jacket? It is stunning and I love it."

The sales girl he was with then proceeded to inform him that they carried it and it was Tory Burch.

*Ugh*

I sadly put it back on the rack only to stroke it every time I walked by it.

So, the real question is, "Who loves me enough to buy it for me?"

What I Wore - Black, Boots and Bows

Yesterday we went to a charity event for work, but I also had to continue to run around to client meetings and the framers afterwards, so I needed an ensemble that could perform double duty. On top of that it was freezing, but the ballroom where the even was being held was surely going to be plenty warm.

Luckily, I remembered this dress and these tights and my dilemma solved itself.

Dress - H&M
Tights - Roxy
Boots - Tory Burch
Necklace - J. Crew
Ring - Kenneth Jay Lane

BTW, are you liking my globe on the coffee table in my den?

I had to move it in here now that our Christmas tree is out, but I am sort of loving its temporary home!

On another happy note, my hair decided it would cooperate as well.
On a Monday no less!

I love these bow tights. I got them on super sale for $3 last winter.

I was so happy with how they looked once I pulled them on in the morning I could not believe I had waited so long to wear them. At about ten o'clock I promptly ripped a HUGE hole in the top of them.

$3 for one wear is ok, but I really wish I could have at least worn them twice.

What I Wore - Black and Gold

I was feeling like looking a little more polished while running around in the cold weather last week. All black always makes this possible. Add a sock bun and a pop of gold and my ensemble was complete.

Blouse - Free People
Leggings - J. Crew
Boots - Tory Burch
Bag - Yves Saint Laurent
Necklace - Ann Taylor

A closer look at my sock bun. It was surprisingly easy and didn't require a single bobby pin.

Hello pretty.
