We stayed at the Encore.  I will never stay at another Vegas hotel again.  The nicest, cleanest hotel and the best beds to boot.  Not to mention this gorgeousness.

Viva Las Vegas

Leaving Las Vegas

We are back from Las Vegas and now reality has set in.

Here is a quick recap:

We arrived in at midnight and changed and headed out.

I am happy to be back in my bed though.

Packing for the Palms

After work today I am piling my husband, our friends the Walshs' and myself into my car and driving to Vegas.

I picked up these "shocking pink" shorts just to cap off summer and I think they are perfect for the 100 degree weather.

Packing chaos.

Jewelry packing. The most difficult part for me.

Hopefully I will be able to update you over my brief stay...unless I'm dancing for 36 hours straight.

Lucky Spot

Beyond Amazing.

Stella McCartney was inspired to create this horse sculpture out of over 8,000 Swarovski crystals in 2004. The name 'Lucky Spot' is after a horse her mother Linda had owned. The sculpture had been on loan to the Belsay Castle, the place that inspired her, until recently when she had it shipped to Las Vegas for her US flagship store.

Let me tell you, if I didn't have a reason to go to Vegas, I do now.

I NEED to see this in person.

Vegas, Here I Come

I am off to 'the Vegas' for the mart for the rest of the week. Maybe, I will become a showgirl and never return.

What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas

So my husband and I are considering a quick trip to the Vegas over the summer.  Usually, all I want to do is lay by the pool and have people bring me drinks all day long.  Although, this time I will have to make sure we visit The Neon Museum.  I am guessing I will have to leave the pool area for this one...
