Furniture Friday 5.15.09

I am sure that there are many others out there like myself, and every time you see something new that catches your eye you think to yourself, "Where can I put that in my house?"  I am constantly having this dilemma however, I live in a lovely but little house.  So, I will post my furniture wants here every Friday as an attempt to either flush it out of my system OR let it prey on my mind until I can figure a way to make it work!

Currently, I am lusting over this table...it is a MUST have!

Tory Burch

While I know that sometimes you can have too much of a good thing, I feel a little differently about Tory Burch.  Lately, I feel as though her colors and accessories have only been getting better.  Her pieces can dress up even the most basic of outfits or go out on the town.  These are a few pieces that I am currently lusting over...
Tory Burch Reva in Sand - the perfect nude colored ballet flat.  Since I am a little over 5'-9", I live for a flat that I can wear day or night.

The Audrie Bag - a big and classic black leather bag that is great for your daily routine or on a long weekend
Scarab Bracelet - This piece is so nice and heavy that just the weight of it on my wrist makes me happy.
Reversible Logo Belt - Makes any jean and t-shirt combo look like you put a little more effort in than you actually did.

Neutral is Beautiful

Seriously...I need this dress.

I don't know why, but I adore those tiny antlers on the wall.

I love the wood on the ceiling juxtaposed with the beautiful Carrera marble.

Ralph Lauren Ashfield Floral in Gunmetal.
We just did this in the bathroom at our office and it is to die for.

Lovely Lights

Lighting always adds to a room, but sometimes it is what makes the room as well.

On a side note - How does everyone out there in the blogging world organize their pictures to help them give credit to where they came from?  I am just so bad at that.  Some of pictures I have had forever and have no clue where they came from.  Others, I gather as I am getting lost on the internet, and next thing you know I have pulled 20 pictures off and don't have the faintest idea where I got them...HELP!

Inside LC's Hollywood Home

First off, I wanted to apologize for my absence on Friday. You have no idea how upset I was to miss my first post since I started this blog! Out of nowhere, my internet decided to hate me and I still have not been able to locate the reason. I am not able to access all of my beautiful inspiration images which has also been nothing but a nightmare! I will do my best to continue to post this week, but it is proving to be a little tricky trying to get them done at the office prior to my work day starting. However, I did manage to find a few pictures for todays post. I decided to continue on with more homes from The Hills. While I know Lauren Conrad has moved out of her Hollywood Hills home, I still loved the few times it appeared on my television screen. Her kitchen and bathroom are ones that I dream of having for my very own.

The City

So I happen to be a reality television junkie...particularly with the Hills.  Therefore, when the City was introduced, I knew I had another program I would be tuning into on Monday nights.  I am sucked into this world where young girls have the clothes, purses, and houses that I lust after.  Now comes Miss Olivia Palermo.  While I do not appreciate her attitude, I do happen to crave her wardrobe and her apartment in the city.  I had almost forgotten about her gorgeous girly abode until I saw a post on Sketch 42 and then my jealousy returned.

Kate Spade

Ever since Deborah Lloyd has taken over as the new creative director for Kate Spade, I have found myself being lured more into her stores lately.  It seems that everything has undergone a bit of a preppy and pretty transformation that I cannot get enough of.  The one noticeable change to me has been the jewelry.  I never noticed it before, and now it seems I am eyeing pieces left and right that I want.  What's a girl to do?

Celebrity Style

So i have found another 'new' website by the creators of Purse Blog...Bag That Style.  I love it because it is all about celebrities and the bags that they have been spotted carrying.  Sometimes you can see a purse on your fave celeb, but you never can seem to figure out what it is.  Here is the solution.  Plus, you can get your gossip fix too.  However, there was a disturbing discovery that I found on Bag That Style today...Heidi Montag, or the new Mrs. Pratt, has the $3000 Valentino Glamorous bag that I love.  Life sometimes just is not fair.
